A brief introduction on new build
This new build property was built during 2012 on a half acre site in the Four Oaks conservation area of Sutton Coldfield. The owners wanted to maximise the amount of light entering the property so were looking for timber french and bi-fold doors, together with timber casement windows, all in a contemporary style.
Which Dale products were chosen and why?
Following a meeting with Dale’s National Sales Director at the Swindon Selfbuild & Renovation Centre, the owners specified dual coloured Flush Casement windows, French Doors and Bi-Fold doors, factory finished in cream on the exterior and white on the interior to match the contemporary decor. Their decision to order from Dale was based on the colour options and security features available, the large bespoke windows and the operation of the bi-fold doors.
Who installed the windows and what did they think of the experience?
The windows, doors and bi-fold doors were installed by Lichfield Design & Contruct, who had used Dale products in the past.
“Dale’s state-of-the-art ordering systemenabled staged, on-time delivery of the products that minimised security issues on site and kept uson schedule. Installation of both the windows and doors was straightforward with absolutely noproblems. The bi-fold doors were especially easy to fit, mainly due to the decent size of the sections.Overall we were very impressed”. Malcolm Wiggins & Stuart Bevan
What was the owner’s reaction to the finished job?
”Ordering was no hassle whilst two site visits from Dale ensured that the measurements were accurate. As the products were stored locally, they were always ready to fit on time. Lichfield Design & Contruct were very impressed by the ease of installation, whilst from our point of view the new windows are absolutely superb, work well and look great. Overall impression 10/10” Mr & Mrs Rickwood
