The Project
Where once previously stood a private bungalow, now stands this impressive new build property in Gloucestershire. The site was purchased by Mr Daniels who opted to demolish the existing bungalow and rebuild from scratch, due to the financial incentives that come with a new build property.
Situated within a conservation area, the local planning authorities informed Mr Daniels that the new windows and doors must be timber and so, Mr Daniels took his time researching different suppliers and options. “I went to the National Self Build & Renovation Centre in Swindon and visited the Dale stand there. I really liked the look of the products on display and so I took a brochure away with me but at the time I thought it would be out of my reach financially”.
After speaking with a friend of his who is also in the building industry, Mr Daniels learnt that his friend had recently installed some Dale products on another local project and he highly recommended Dale to him.
“After this, I got in touch with the Dale team. Matt visited and brought along a sample product. He was very helpful throughout and it was great to discover that the Dale range was within my budget after all!” Mr Daniels comments.
Flush Casement Windows
Following a meeting with Matt Chambers of Dale and seeing a sample product for himself, Mr Daniels was confident in specifying new flush casement windows for his property. The new windows are finished in the shade of ‘Pebble Grey’ with 18mm astragal glazing bars.
Entrance Doors
The new Tintagel entrance door was specified in the same ‘Pebble Grey’ finish as the new windows and is a perfect fit with the traditional Cotswold stone finish of the property.
