Timber Casement Windows

Our timber casement windows are manufactured using engineered European Redwood timber. They feature engineered multi-layer timber sections with opposing grains that balance warping and combat twisting.

You can choose from over 200 colours, with the option of different colours for the interior and exterior. Our process makes everything simple and as efficient as possible to ensure you have complete peace of mind when purchasing flush casement timber windows.

Hassle free cavity formers available

Our cavity formers provide a benefit in their quick lead time from order to delivery, enabling openings to be quickly and accurately formed on site, allowing the scheduling of external joinery to be taken off the critical path. Windows and doors can be ordered in plenty of time, knowing that they will fit accurately into the pre-formed openings. No need to wait for the openings to be built, then measured and ordered, potentially saving you weeks on site!

The standard cavity closer order process is incredibly easy. Just specify the cavity size and whether it is ‘in-line’ (brick and block lining through) or ‘in-check’ (set behind the face brickwork).

Fire rated cavity closers are also available, combining a 60 minute cavity fire barrier and cavity closer former in ONE product.

FAQ - What are flush casement windows?

Flush casement windows are a type of window that sits flush within the frame when it is fully closed, in return creating a flat, smooth surface on the outside. They offer a combination of modern and traditional styles, which is why it’s one of the UK’s most popular window styles.
FAQ - Are flush casement windows more expensive?

Flush casement are marginally more expensive at around 2%- 5% increase. Flush UPVC windows are far more expensive than the standard lipped/stormproof profiles as this is a more recent addition to the UPVC market. They are also seen as a much more luxurious product that is not as widely manufactured because it is a more recent addition and the machinery is either not as widely available or far more costly than a generic extruder. Timber flush casement windows are a popular addition to many properties across the UK as they are durable, high performing and visually appealing.
FAQ - What type of glazing options are available?

All of our timber windows are double-glazed as standard to offer maximum efficiency. We provide various types of glazing options you can choose from, and you can view examples on our details page.
FAQ - What guarantees do you offer?

We have comprehensive guarantees on our windows, including a fungal and inspect 30-year guarantee and 10-year guarantees on sealed units, hardware, workmanship, and paint. A complete list of our guarantees can be found here.
FAQ - What colours are available?

Hundreds of different shades are available, and we work with you to ensure your windows are the exact colour you desire. Our most popular colours include subtle creams, greys, pastel blues and more. In addition, our windows are available in any colour from the RAL classic range, which has 210 shades.
FAQ - How long does delivery take?

The estimated delivery time is 7-10 weeks except over Christmas when we close for 2 weeks, which sometimes extends the lead time to 8-12, but not always.
FAQ - Do you offer installation?

Dale Joinery is supply only, although we can recommend trusted and reputable installers.
