Planning a property refurbishment, extension or new build and want to find out more about timber windows and doors?
If you are then come and join us at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre Summer Show, which takes place between May Friday 19th and Sunday 21st May.
Our permanent show home at the centre, which is just off Junction 16 of the M4 at Swindon, has a range of our made to measure timber windows and doors for you to come and see up close and test out and try. A visit will help you truly understand the true quality and performance of our modern day timber windows and doors.
In addition, members of our highly experienced and friendly team will be on hand to provide advice on the key things to consider when building, renovating or refurbishing properties incorporating timber windows and doors.
According to Dale National Sales Manager Matt Chambers, visitors to the show will not only be able to really understand the key performance features and quality standards to look out for when considering timber windows and doors but also see hundreds of other stands related to homebuilding and improving.
“For many of our visitors to the NSBRC, the beauty is that they can see our products operating in the flesh and really understand the attention to detail that goes into every product we create. On the surface, timber windows and doors can look very similar, but the reality is that under the surface the difference in performance, quality and style can be huge. For people looking to buy timber windows and doors for their own building project, getting this step right really can make a massive difference to the finished look, feel and ongoing performance.
“We have revitalised timber windows and doors from the core material – a high quality 3 layered, knott-free engineered timber that will not twist or warp. This, combined this with high performance, impermeable glazing systems and the use of micro-porous paint finishes that allow the timber to breath and self regulate its moisture content, reduces the possibility of rot,” said Matt.
“Once you add your choice of hardware from our range, all of these elements come together to create a product, that is truly made to measure. What’s more, it’s delivered to site fully finished ready to fit and for you to enjoy.
“The difference between mass-produced and made to measure, will have a significant and direct impact on the quality of the finished article. Simply opting for a non-engineered wood, which is delivered to your site primed or unfinished means you will need to finish it. The result could mean products that warp and twist relatively quickly and that age much faster because they are not manufactured and fully finished in a factory controlled environment,” he added.
