Transformation of former Cotswolds bungalow

A joy to work with

“Overall I am very happy with how the house has turned out and am equally happy with the new windows and doors from Dale. Everyone at Dale was very professional and a joy to work with”

Mr Hancock - Self Builder

The Project

“We purchased the bungalow that was on this site roughly 5 years ago. The property was built in the 1960s and was quite frankly, ugly. So, we planned to demolish it and build a new family home to then sell on” explains Mr Hancock, who has recently finished works on this new build home in the Cotswolds.

With the luxury of a blank canvas to work on, Mr Hancock took his time to ensure every element of the new design was to his exact requirements and matched the picture he had built in his head. “We went back to the planning committee a few times until we were completely happy with how the house would look”.

Flush Casement Windows

Opting against a traditional ‘White’ finish, the new casement windows for this home were specified in the shade of ‘Grey Beige’, a fitting accompaniment to the render and traditional Cotswold stone finish applied to the property.

Bi-fold doors

At the rear of the structure, a large six-panel set of bi-fold doors were installed in the same ‘Grey Beige’ finish. Opening up the living areas to the patio and garden provides a perfect living opportunity for a young family and/or those with pets.
