Window Cills

We have 3 standard cill sizes that apply to the entire range of windows we manufacture. Custom cill sizes can be manufactured on request.

To meet Building Regulations Part L the 142mm cill is supplied as standard and provides a 73 mm projection. This is suitable for most situations, such as a window fitted directly in to brickwork.

Stub cills are often used where the building has a stone cill so the window cill requires less projection. When a cladding or render is used on the outside of the building, or the window is set back in to the reveal an entended cill is often used to take water away from the construction opening.

A 192 mm cill is also available for special order, and custom lengths may be possible. Please call if you need a specific cill size.
